Ingredients:
1. Black Channa/Kadalekalu - 2 cup
2. Green chili - 5-6
3. Grated Coconut - 1 cup
4. Chopped coriander leave - half a cup
5. Hing - 2 pinches
6. Salt to taste
7. Seasoning: Mustard seeds, Channa Dal, Udad dal, turmeric.
8. Lemon juice 2 tbsp.
How to prepare:
1. Soak channa dal overnight.
2. Heat oil in a pan
3. Add mustard seeds, when it splutters add channa dal and udad dal.
4. Add finely grated green chilis.
5. Add the soaked channa dal and half a cup of water.
6. Add Salt and pressure cook for 3 whistles
7. After cooling down, add grated coconut, coriander leaves and lemon juice and mix well till the remaining water steams out.
Serve Hot.
